Drake Responds To Mavado Diss Track On IG Live

Drake Claps Back At Mavado Saying He Can Never Be A “Yaadman”
Drake is currently embroiled in a heated beef with Jamaican dancehall legend Mavado, and he doesn’t seem ready to back out. It all started when Drizzy dropped “Only You Freestyle” featuring Headie One where he took shots at Mavado.
“With Pop Skull in Gaza, but not that Gaza, but still it’s a mazza/ N***as want peace like Cassava/ But we let bridge dem burn like grabba,” the Toronto rapper raps on the track.
Mavado wasted no time in firing back at Drake with his own diss track titled “Enemy Lines.” “You are not from Dancehall/You have no Power in Dancehall n everybody know who introduce you to Dancehall so don’t feel like you can come disrespect Gully take that out you brain n don’t dweet again,” Vado raps in response.
He also took to Instagram with a caption questioning Drake’s position in dancehall culture: “Remember this. Dancehall a mi play ground. You are not from Dancehall. You have no Power in Dancehall n everybody know who introduce you to Dancehall so don’t feel like you can come disrespect Gully take that out you brain n don’t dweet again.”
And just when we thought it was over, Drake hopped on Instagram Live to lash out at Mavado, with a comment that many immediately leapt to decipher.
“Some bwoy love chat about yaad man and some next fuckery and all now dem can’t catch up to the 876 Gad go hold a one seat and a box juice and hush ya mout OVO UNRULY.” It appears there’s more to unfold. Vybz Kartel has also reacted to the ongoing beef, taking Drake’s side.
