Drake’s New Album Is Reportedly 90% Done

Hip Hop fans are expected to have an interesting year, with new generation’s top rappers including Kendrick Lamar, J Cole and Drake reportedly dropping their albums respectively.

Drake’s fans have been patiently waiting for him to drop a follow up album after his 2018’s ‘Scorpion’, an album that many criticized for having too many tracks and disappointing.

Although, there are a few notable standouts tracks on ‘Scorpion’, hip hop critics find it underwhelming. Drizzy has dropped couple mixtapes in the course of the wait for his next album, including ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’ which was dropped months back.

The mixtape is a compilation of songs that were released on SoundCloud or leaked on the internet, as well as new songs, and is considered a “warm-up” to Drake’s upcoming sixth studio album release in the summer of this year.

Yesterday, Drake’s longtime friend and engineer OVO Noel, took to Instagram to give an update on the project, confirming that the untitled release is actually ninety-percent complete.

“Ya’ll gonna have to wait on the last 10%,” he revealed adding a digital shrug.
