Suge Knight Says Nipsey's Loyalty Got Him Killed

Suge Knight Weighs In On Nipsey Hussle's Death

In 2015, Suge Knight killed two men with his vehicle—Terry Carter, fellow benefactor of Heavyweight Records and a companion of Knight, and movie producer Cle Sloan—before escaping the scene.

Carter kicked the bucket from his wounds, and keeping in mind that witnesses guaranteed that the occurrence appeared to be purposeful, Knight said it was self-protection.

Knight later argued no challenge to willful murder, in any case, a judge condemned him to 28 years in jail.

Despite the fact that the 53-year-old is bolted up, he generally has his ear to the lanes. TMZ as of late talked with Knight about the homicide of Nipsey Hussle, and the previous CEO revealed to them that he trusts that the killed rapper's mission for progress and love for his neighborhood is the thing that got him executed.

"A lot of artists like Nipsey have the same problem that I had," Knight said. "We are too loyal to our neighborhood." He went on to say that many artists have the money and resources to move but they end up staying where they came from because "when you go around Hollywood it's all watered down."

Knight compared Nipsey to Tupac by saying, "I feel that Nipsey was trying to follow the same Tupac manual to the community. He came together with YG like Snoop did with Tupac."

He hopes that Nipsey's legacy can unify Los Angeles in the years to come. "What's good is that all the hoods getting together now...we can be stronger considering what happens when we come together."
